Practice and Improve
Goodwin Park Golf Course provides a great place for a golfer to practice and improve their game of golf. Our Practice Range, Putting and chipping green, and the North Course offer a unique facility.
The Practice Range is open daily and provides high quality mats, practice balls, and multiple targets to practice direction and distance control. Targets are placed at yardages of 75, 100, 175, 215, and 250 requiring multiple clubs to aim at the different targets.
The practice green at Goodwin Park offers the golfer the ability to practice under golf course like conditions. The slope and speed of the green simulates what the golfer will experience when playing the game of golf. The green is surrounded by a fringe and rough area allowing for short game practice in addition to putting. We do ask that golfers repair any ball marks left on the green and ensure the safety of others if they are practicing higher lofted shots.
The North Course provides an excellent opportunity to improve your golf game. The fairways are narrow and require accurate driving of the golf ball to score well. For longer hitters, there are a number of opportunities to work on your scoring clubs, driver, wedges, and your putter.
