The North Course at Goodwin Park is affectionately known as the “Flat Nine.” The course consist of 8 par fours and a short par 3. This course is great for the beginning golfer that wants to avoid bunkers and water hazards as there are none on the golf course. The main challenges for the experienced golfer is the narrowness of the fairways and the ability of the golfer to hit wedges close to the hole. “The North Course is great practice for me as it forces me to drive the ball into a narrow area and hit wedges close to the hole to score well,” says PGA Head Golf Professional, Kevin Cloud.
